This election cycle features partisan races (except for county judge) at the federal, state and county levels.  Voters will select their representatives for U.S. Senate, U.S. Representative, Ohio Supreme Court, Ohio District Court of Appeals, Ohio Governor/Lt. Governor, Ohio Attorney General, Ohio Auditor, Ohio Secretary of State, Ohio Treasurer, Ohio Senator (odd # districts), Ohio Representative, County Auditor, County Commissioner and County Probate Judge.  Statewide, county, local and school board issues may also be on the ballot.

presumptive candidates

These candidates won their May 5, 2026 Primary Election contests and are now their party's presumptive candidates for the November 3, 2026 General Election. Independent candidates filing by the May 4, 2026 deadline must be certified by the County Board of Elections by July 15, 2026. Write-in candidates must file by August 24, 2026.
